The benefits of learning another language at a young age

Learning to understand and to speak another language can help to make children more expressive. Their growing appreciation that other languages exist, and that an object or an action can have different names, lays foundations in children’s comprehension which are a great advantage in learning languages in later life as well as giving children a different perspective on their primary language, the one that they use every day, and the freedom that they have to be expressive and creative with it.
Young children are highly receptive, and can absorb knowledge without conscious effort. As we all know, learning doesn’t remain so effortless throughout life. By immersing the children in the French language, entertaining and stimulating them, and presenting them with carefully designed language lessons, which build incrementally, we aim to allow them to soak up a grasp of French whilst enjoying themselves and their interaction with the rest of the group.
